Once I managed to decipher everything, the premonition it was carrying along became evident…A warning to Earth and to the human race. I did all I could to warn mankind but I was though being insane and nobody appreciated the impending danger.
Mi svegliai da questo sogno, ma quella figura mi rimase in mente, indelebile… Decisi quindi che era il momento di dimostrare al mondo le mie capacità.

Questo fu il primo schizzo che buttai giù, una semplice bozza a matita su un pezzo di carta strappato da un quaderno di mia figlia. Non sapevo ancora bene cosa avrei usato per costruire questo mostro, ma ben presto lo capii.
This was the first outline I drew, drafted with a pencil on a page I had torn off my daughter’s notebook. At that time I didn’t know yet what I would use to build this monster, but soon after I worked it out.
Passarono alcuni mesi e dopo una lunga ricerca trovai la moto che sarebbe poi diventata Apophis… Una Ducati Monster 695 l’unica che grazie alla forma del telaio, mi avrebbe permesso di costruire quello che avevo in mente. Decisi di acquistarla e di portarmela in officina, iniziando così il lavoro più lungo e complicato che avessi mai fatto fino a quel momento.
Few months passed by and after searching for long, I finally found the motorbike that would later become Apophs 99942. a Ducati Monster 659, the only one which structure would fit with the project I had in mind.I bought it and brought it to my factory, thus making the first step into the longest work I had ever done up to that point in my life.
